In modern laboratories, the integration of IoT devices and advanced machine learning systems provides an unprecedented opportunity to revolutionize laboratory workflows. This PoC introduced an autonomous laboratory infrastructure utilizing IBM cognitive services and IoT-based multi-channel systems to augment laboratory tasks.
This infrastructure supports a variety of laboratory operations such as setting up experiments, verifying apparatus configuration, and guiding researchers through tasks using natural language prompts. The cognitive system autonomously monitors equipment like pH meters, temperature sensors, and robotic arms while providing real-time feedback to researchers.
